Our Story

Our coaches and volunteers are passionate about rugby, and in 2019 decided to establish a youth rugby club in Glasgow East to introduce the game to a new generation of local children.

Glasgow East Juniors RFC was born, and we have made Barrachnie Park our home.

We are dedicated to growing our club and developing our facilities at Barrachnie, whilst also working with the community and schools to bring sport to as many young people as possible.

Come join us. New players, volunteers and coaches are always welcome!

Our Commitment

As a club we are committed to making rugby accessible to all, to creating a safe environment to learn the game, and to use rugby as a way to enhance the local community.

Recognition

The smiles on the faces of the players are reward enough, but outside recognition is always a bonus. In 2021, our very own Brendan won the 'Glasgow North Diversity & Inclusion Award', and that sums up the club perfectly.
